Orgy of Mass Delusion at Morningstar Revival

2009 November 8

A video I found on askegg’s youtube channel.

At the beginning, (0:22) woman claims that a dead person was raised along with other fictitious miracles. Notice how loosely the word “miracle” is often used in this video.

* How can the people that believe this stuff look at themselves in the mirror?

This is absolute insanity. All I kept thinking was how is that people become so caught up in what is so completely false.

Ha Ha Ha Ha, you know what is really fucking growse about this? That was me in high school, claiming the same miracles, talking like jesus was right next to me. I can honestly say, there were absolutly NO miracles and it is all hype, it is the exact same feeling and emotions as a Tony Robbins seminar, just a bunch of people feeding off eachother. It makes me fucking sick and I am still bitter I wasted so much of my life believing such nonsense. Hate religion and faith.

      I like you, kid!! :)

I hate it too man. I wish I’d never heard of jebus or heaven or hell. By the time I was about 12 I was sure the “end times” would come and I wouldn’t get to grow up and have my own kids or life. It was very scary for me. I’ve saw this kind of crap too when I was a kid. It actually really pisses me off now.

OK wait, that first woman is labeled as a teacher. Scary.

Sorry for multiple comments here… But these people do realize that the ancient Persian name of the morning star (Venus) is “Lucifer”, right? I mean if they only opened their minds and learned a little REAL history maybe this hypocrisy would slowly start to disappear…. Wishful thinking, I know.

    • 2009 November 8

Not to be too nit-picky, but I am pretty sure Lucifer is actually a Latin word.

Yes Eric, it is Latin, literally meaning “light-bearer”.

This should be enough evidence to convince the Pope that christianity is lunancy.

I’m trying to imagine what would be said and done if atheist behaved in this manner.

The story above is the very reason I tell people that you can’t have -just a little religion- in our mist, having a “little religion” and/or what so-called “progressives” call “spirituality” is akin to having a “little naziism” it is not something that is harmless, but in fact is one of (if not THE most) distructive belief systems in the modern world.

As a belief system it worked well as a force for social coheasion-before the time of science and general literacy-when just about everyone (even most of the kings and land owners of the time) could not even read, but that was long long ago, and we as a people woun’t be able to live happily in the 21st century, untill we rid ourselves of these old, antiquated belief systems, just remember if you ever think the world is crazy it is, and the two greatest causes are, greed (capitalism) and religion, it was called “the Dark Ages” for a reason.

Last two times I did that:
my sister excommunicated me, last words “hope to see you in heaven.”
my father screamed at me “you listen to demons”

The level of delusion in this video is astounding Mark. This is 2009 and we still have people making such ignorant claims. Clinically dead folks don’t reanimate in reality. I believe only deluded Christians still make such claims. In the 60s, I witnessed such a fraud as a child. It was one of the things which made me a none-believer before I reached the age of ten:
